inktober! The God Labs reactors
Inktober! It hardly counts as I'm working in ink right now so it's not really a challenge to inktober because I ink all over the place. This page was an experiment though because I was mixing inks and soaking the filler material of used up Faber-Castell PITT pens (which are expensive, 5 money a pen and they run out fast) to reactivate them and it seems to have worked! One of the dangers here is that they can mold which I've had happen with water brush pens I filled with ink.

inktober! studies
Inktober! These are some drawings I did from the s.t.a.l.k.e.r. concept art, and one of a RBMK nuclear reactor refueling crane. I'm experimenting with using inks for the next story I've been working on, and I've been doing a lot of research on nuclear reactors and labs and such. I did want to be a nuclear physicist before I pursued art, so in a lot of ways I'm fulfilling my dream!

Inktober my anime!
Now that I've got some anime drawing under my belt I can start to branch off on my own and make some of my own ultra sweet cute anime characters!

inktober 2016! hentiober!
Inktober! A friend informed me this is from a fanservice anime, which is
ironic, because in the reference image I used she is covering her boob,
but I drew her nipple because I didn’t want to draw her hand!

Inktober sketchbook page
INKTOBER but not anime, this is what I've been working on after finishing Red. Some kind of story about a laboratory and doing experiments to get into heaven and nuclear reactors and killing people to see where their souls go and abominations show up and weird tall mutilated guys with guns named Romulus and Remus, some kind of thing like that.

Inktober 08! Aninkober!
Inktober! I felt like in school our professors were slightly dismissive of anime. I think they wanted us to focus on fundamentals and less on anime stylization, but I've been looking up manga drawing guides and it is really technical in ways I didn't expect. I'm no stranger to anime, but I wanted to draw in this style this october because it is antipathetic to the way I usually draw and I think that's interesting. Also I'm trying to be more cute, just, personally...

Inktober 2016!
Inktober 2016! I was going to also try to make it 80sanimetober because
I've been looking into a lot of that recently. This paper was weird to
use, it's plotter paper my dad brought me from weyerhaeuser that has a
super ink absorbent coating on one side. I use it a lot with ball point
pens, but with a nib and ink it was sucking the ink out of the nib like
some kind of greedy ink sucking absorber. Anyway that's why the lines
are so gluttonous.
