Stero Amplifier
I made a stereo amp to test speaker enclosure designs. It uses two
LM386 chips on a board I redesigned because the original used a whole
stripboard and was incredibly inefficient. I got it as small as possible
because I was just using scraps of board laying around, and I wanted
one for each channel in one enclosure. The volume indicator represents
how insane it gets when turning it all the way up.

Banana Stickers
I started collecting these banana stickers with my niece and just
happened to have some frame chunks that were the right size to make
this. She has to explain to me who all these freaks and weirdos are, and
I, in turn, explain what bananas are.

Robot Sacrifices
The Robots didn’t know either, if all the sacrifices kept the sun in
the sky, so they kept doing it, unwilling to risk the alternative.

Atari Buttons, Modern Controller
In the 80s my dad got sick of Atari 5200 controllers breaking so he
decided to make controllers out of the highest quality arcade components
he could find. He advertised but they didn’t really take off. Decades
later he found out Atari collectors revered his Starcon controllers and
quickly bought up all his left over stock and asked him to sign them. I
grew up with all these parts kicking around and I recently dug out the
last remaining pieces from a closet to make my own controller. As you
can see these buttons came from an era when you weren't going to have
more than a couple in an enclosure so they are ungainly and absurdly
large. But I got a generic xbox controller board and crammed them as
tightly as I could. I just made it to make it, but I’m surprised how
much I like this controller. I just played through the entirety of
Alisa, an old school tank-controls survival horror, and it was the most
ease I’ve had playing a tank control game. I made a wrist rest and am
just waiting for a sheet of plastic to arrive so I can finish the bottom
panel.

Black Metal Black Coffee
I forgot my headphones and had to listen to the in-store Starbucks music which almost made me explode. There is some mystery person that always sets the station to the Disney/Showtunes station. It was the worst thing that ever happened to me.

and submitted them to their fanart page and they put them up!

Party Time
I found this stand thing on the side of the road and didn’t like that
you could see the cheap MDF under the top shelf so I made a cover for
it from a sheet of plastic. Then since I was doing that I added every
colour of LED I had because I wanted to party all the time.

Drawing of a Painting
I did this same illustration on a pedal
enclosure in watercolours but after contracting The Disease I wiped it
off and just splattered red paint on it. I was upset I got sick and it
felt more comfortable than trying to capture something beautiful and
innocent.

God City Instruments HM-1
This is a God City Instruments HM-1 which is an imagining of what a
BOSS Distortion-1 mixed with a HeavyMetal-2 would produce. And it is
awesome, it goes into the sound of both pedals and has its own sound
mixing the two. Also I’m apparently starting a catgirl theme.

The Equine Comedy is RELEASED!
The Equine Comedy is Available Immediately on Amazon KINDLE an Amazon
Products Amazon Subsidiary! It has actually been up since Saturday but I
wanted to look at it on someone’s phone and then I changed the cover
and had to wait for it to update. It covers my work from 2010 to now
with descriptions and little stories about the which and why I did
anything I did, why I wanted to write Red, The God Labs,
etcetera. Plus just the very autobiographical nature of my work itself,
seeing it progress and change over the years, seeing the change in me. I
appreciate anyone checking it out. I also lowered the price of Red to
$4.99 USD and updated my blog banner to link to both books.

The Equine Comedy First Draft Finished
Finished the first draft of The Equine Comedy, it’s 80 something
pages and is just under 300 megs so I’m hopeful I won’t have to reduce
the resolution or add any compression. Hopefully it will look alright on
phones and such, I’ll be doing the guided view next, then we’ll see if
they have any objections when I submit it to kindle.

Nefertiti Delux
Nefertiti Delux, a Black Arts Toneworks Pharaoh Supreme. This was
sitting on my bench for weeks as I repainted the enclosure 3 times. It
was originally going to be themed after
Isabella Rossellini’s character in Death Becomes Her but I didn’t like
the way it turned out two times and settled on this.

The Equine Comedy preview 01
I dumped all the images of my work I thought I might use in The
Equine Comedy into one folder. Currently it is over 800 images, spanning
2010 to 2020. I’m laying out 8-9 images a page then planning to use the
kindle guided view thing so you can go image by image or page by page.
It has to be under 300megs so I was shooting for 100 pages or so,
including introductions and descriptions and stuff.

Starting the Equine Comedy
It occurred to me that I could do The Equine Comedy, a name my friend
suggested if I ever published a book of my work in general. So I
started working on that, it’ll probably cover about 12 years. I just
finished the section on 2010, the end of school and going on to making
art in the wild. I’m writing some synopses and introductions and
thoughts and reflections and such, a retrospective but also publishing a
lot of stuff for the first time. It felt like time to do it, just to
make some kind of record of what I’ve been doing all this time.
