Home made desktop speakers

 

Made some speakers for my computer to replace the Advents which are now under my desk. This is the second time I’ve remade these speakers which started out as my dad’s rear channel for his surround sound system, then were in my living room until my amp burned out, and now they’re on my desk. I’ve kept the face the same, since the drivers are glued in and I couldn’t get them out, so the challenge was to figure out how to cobble together these enclosures out of oak flooring scraps from my sister. I made the covers out of scrap pegboard with an old ‘used car salesman’ jacket I had as the fabric. And they sound terrible. heh heh, i’m joke
