Macbeth and Throne of Blood
I recently watched Roman Polanski’s 1971 Macbeth and Akira Kurosawa’s
1957 Throne of Blood back to back, it was really cool seeing the visual
choices and motifs both directors chose for the Shakespeare play. Here
are shots comparing parallel scenes from both movies, interesting to see
where they are quite similar. Course no one can out face Mifune, he is a
well of intense expressions that never runs dry.
